Beast 049: Angiss

Devas are a unique and rare monster type, as they are the opposite of Demons: they are good "holy monsters", and hold some of the strongest and rarest specimen that ever showed up in PokéCitia. Although they are good, doesn't mean they aren't dangerous: every Deva can steal a soul and keep it to themselves, it belonging to a person that attacks them without a reason; different Devas may have different purposes for kept souls, though most will just have them around until the soul's penitence time is over and then it delivers it back to its respective body if still alive. Devas are also mostly active on daytime, as opposite to Demons (which they purge at sight), more active at night.

Angiss are Devas that come from Heavenly planes, the place where good souls go when their bodies die. They are also the lowest-ranked holy warriors of that plane, and most of them are female (12,5% of them are male). They are skilled fighters that can help fight for good causes; they don't take sides, though (if you are fighting to protect an innocent and it's around, it will help you; if you're fighting other monsters at random or are in the middle of war, it won't).

Angiss speak an angelic language that isn't understandable for gijinkas, and always look calm and peaceful. They are quite rare to see around PokéCitia, coming for good souls or at times of war to help the innocent, and once they finish their mission, go back to their home plane, so they are pretty rare to meet.
